This sandalus stone Arabic prayer beads is composed of 33 beads in oval shape. The bead size measures 11 x 14 mm, 28 cm in length, and weighs 37.59 grams. The Shaheed is made of sandalus stone while the Karkousha is tassle.
Sandalus like granite in general is not only strikingly beautiful but very versatile in look, heat resistant, incredibly strong, and can go on looking beautiful for decades. It is made up of interlocking mineral crystals, the most common being feldstar and quartz, but also an array of other minerals can be included which makes sandalus stone unique.
